Scribbles in the Sandbox is a fun writing circle for adults of all abilities! Here, we cultivate a safe and nurturing environment for both new and seasoned writers to brainstorm, share ideas, and refine their craft together. This circle is all about embracing creativity and exploring new possibilities, allowing each participant to contribute their unique voice and perspective. Join us as we play with words and inspiration, transforming our scribbles into stories, songs or poems!
Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, or "forest bathing," these workshops offer a peaceful, immersive experience in nature designed to calm the mind and rejuvenate the spirit. Participants are guided through mindful exercises that deepen their connection to the natural world, including gentle walking, breathing techniques, and sensory activities to fully engage with the forest surroundings. These workshops encourage relaxation, presence, and an appreciation for nature’s therapeutic effects, helping each participant find inner calm and a renewed sense of well-being.
